Vida Mirk is a project born out of my increasing desire for discovering new forms of self-expression throughout 2021.
With my work, I hope to spark in others a similar curiosity for self-expression that threw me into the world of contemporary jewellery and wearable art.
Goals
Vida Mirk is a slow production project, aiming to create one-of-a-kind and innovative handmade work, with a focus on commissioned pieces.
I am passionate about creating contemporary jewelry that is accessible, ready for everyday wear and can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their gender identity.
Pieces are cast in precious metals such as sterling silver, brass and bronze. Other pieces are made from various non-metal materials such as clays, wood, and stone.
